Benefits of quitting smoking and vaping

Every person has their own reason for starting the journey to quitting smoking or vaping, but they all experience the same challenges and benefits. There are many short-term and long-term health benefits that exist, starting from a normal level of heart rate to significantly reducing your risk of coronary heart disease. See the infographic below that describes some of the immediate and long-term benefits of quitting smoking. Some of these benefits are also described in more detail on the American Lung Association website.

Vaping can be just as addictive as smoking regular cigarettes and can also cause long-term lung damage. There are just as many benefits to quitting vaping, and these benefits are very similar to those associated with quitting smoking in the infographic below.
