With the use of e-cigarettes increasing substantially, the government is considering more strict regulation on how these devices are made and how they are sold.

If this plan is followed, e-cigarettes may require further rules on safety, advertising and warnings on labels, similar to those that are found on traditional cigarettes.
As for now, consumers should not assume these products are guaranteed to be safe, or that claims regarding the product are accurate.
In regards to science, the question of risk and benefits for current smokers is still unanswered – research is just beginning.
Though there is much to be discovered, there is already growing evidence stating that it may be smart to never start using e-cigarettes.
